Annual Fund
Gifts to the Annual Fund are board-designated, providing the Foundation with the flexibility to respond to pressing needs as they arise. The Board of Directors designates these resources to areas where they can provide the greatest support to the Foundation’s beneficiaries and work. By giving to the Annual Fund, you help ensure that the Foundation is equipped to respond to the needs of the Church today.
Endowed Funds
A Parish or School Endowed Fund is a fund established to provide ongoing financial support exclusively for the parish or school for which it is named. The fund is managed by the Foundation, with investment income used to provide grants and other financial support for the designated parish or school’s needs and operations.
By contributing to a Parish or School Endowed Fund, donors help create a dedicated source of support that can strengthen the work of that parish or school for generations to come. As the fund grows, so does its capacity to provide ongoing support and help ensure that the parish or school can continue serving its community well into the future.
A Named Endowed Fund allows you to establish a permanent fund in your name, in the name of a loved one, or in honor or memory of someone or a cause that is meaningful to you. The fund can be designated to support a specific ministry or purpose within the Archdiocese of Las Vegas. By establishing a Named Endowed Fund, you create a lasting legacy that provides support for the ministry you choose for generations to come. The Pallium Endowment is the Foundation’s general endowed fund, established to provide ongoing financial support for the apostolates and ministries of the Archdiocese of Las Vegas. Gifts to the Pallium Endowment are invested to generate income, which is used by the Board of Directors to make grants addressing the most pressing needs of the Archdiocese. Because the principal remains invested, the Endowment provides a source of support that can grow and serve the Church for generations to come.
Gifts or pledges of $10,000.00 or more qualify the donor(s) to become members of the Pallium Society.
The Pallium Society
The Pallium Society is the Foundation’s major giving society, recognizing individuals and couples who contribute or pledge at least $10,000 over five years to the Pallium Endowment. Society members make a commitment to strengthening the Endowment and providing a perpetual source of support for the apostolates and ministries of the Archdiocese of Las Vegas. Their generosity helps ensure that the Foundation is prepared to meet the needs of the Church as they arise. The Pallium Foundation is a Nevada not-for-profit corporation and an exempt organization as described in Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code (EIN 39-2998980). Contributions to the Foundation are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
