In Service to the Parishes, Schools, and Apostolates of the Archdiocese of Las Vegas

Welcome

Much like an archbishop’s duty to the Catholic Faithful is symbolized by the pallium itself, the Pallium Foundation’s duty is to the Catholic Faithful of the Archdiocese of Las Vegas.

Mission Statement

The Pallium Foundation was established in 2025 to provide perpetual financial support for the parishes, schools, apostolates, missions, and other ministries of the Archdiocese of Las Vegas. Through the building of an endowment and a community of dedicated donors, the Foundation seeks to create a lasting legacy that enables the ministries of the Archdiocese to continue their transformative work for many years to come.

Guided by its commitment to service, faith, and stewardship, the Foundation strives to:

Support the Archdiocese

Through grants made from Parish Endowed Funds under the Pallium Endowment to respond to their most pressing and urgent needs. In this way, the Foundation ensures the continuing of the practice of the Faith in the Archdiocese of Las Vegas for many years to come.

Steward Resources

Through the Pallium Endowment, Parish Endowed Funds, and other Endowed Funds dedicated to specific Archdiocesan ministries. These funds help underwrite costs for projects and programs that advance the Archdiocese’s mission of spreading the Gospel message of Hope through evangelization, lifelong formation, and worship.

Create Legacy

Through the financial support of Pallium Society Members and other generous donors, who are committed to seeing the Foundation provide a stable financial future for the Archdiocese’s apostolates and ministries.

Enable Ministry

Through the work of the Foundation’s beneficiaries. By safeguarding the long-term future of the Archdiocesan parishes, schools, apostolates, missions, and other ministries, the Foundation enables these entities to support the Catholic Faithful and those in need.

FAQ

The Foundation’s Annual Fund is used to underwrite immediate expenses of the Foundation. The Pallium Endowment is a Foundation account whose assets are put towards generating investment income from which grants are made to the Archdiocese’s apostolates and ministries. Both funds are Board-designated, meaning that the Board of Directors has full control over distribution of the grants. All the Foundation’s assets are invested according to guidelines from the USCCB.
Because the Pallium Foundation seeks to ensure the perpetual future of the apostolates and ministries of the Archdiocese of Las Vegas, a gift to the Foundation goes beyond a donation to the weekly parish collection. Donations to the Pallium Endowment help grow the Endowment, thereby increasing the value of the grants given to each of the Archdiocese’s apostolates and ministries. This means that a donation to the Foundation continues to have an impact on the apostolates and ministries of the Archdiocese of Las Vegas for decades to come. Your donation is not simply a gift for today, but a gift in perpetuity.
